If Pål Hult had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Charlie Vollander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torsten Norberg in the 17th minute of the match. Pontus Axelsson hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Stig Ekelund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Torsten Norberg came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Iron Wolves FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Torsten Norberg couldn't finish the play. In the 35th minute of the match Marcus Salqvist sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Per-Erik Vikström skillfully saved the ball. Per-Olof Lundin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Börje Ahlfors struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Per-Erik Vikström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ytterby IK.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pål Hult was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Ytterby IK's goalkeeper Charlie Vollander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Torsten Norberg. Stig Bergfelt hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute, Torsten Norberg made a precise shot to the right of Charlie Vollander. Ytterby IK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. With a little luck, Ytterby IK's Charlie Vollander got control of the ball when Torsten Norberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Torsten Norberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Stig Ekelund took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Charlie Vollander to make any attempt to save it. If Stig Ekelund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Iron Wolves FC's Matthias Holmstedt got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Iron Wolves FC's Per-Erik Vikström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Börje Ahlfors in the 97th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Iron Wolves FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
