Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Eric Runeberg kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute Pål Hult shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hampus Matsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hampus Matsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pål Hult, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pål Hult received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Hampus Matsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th match minute, Sundets IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yngve Lindqvist to maneuver through the defense. Börje Ahlfors fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hampus Matsson having to interfere. Börje Ahlfors could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Hampus Matsson made a huge save. Börje Ahlfors sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hampus Matsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Börje Ahlfors in the 25th minute. After a rather tough play, Sundets IF's Yngve Lindqvist got a free kick in the 26th minute. Gunnar Göransson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charlie Vollander having to interfere. Börje Ahlfors sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Charlie Vollander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eric Runeberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Sundets IF's Eric Runeberg got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lars Zachrisson's late challenge caught a Sundets IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lars Zachrisson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 45th minute, Lars Zachrisson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pål Hult made a kick off. Hampus Matsson came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ytterby IK's Pål Hult. But to his dismay, Pål Hult quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 63rd match minute, Sundets IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yngve Lindqvist to maneuver through the defense. But to his dismay, Stig Bergfelt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 74 minutes into the match, Ytterby IK's Pål Hult sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hampus Matsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Sundets IF's Eric Runeberg in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ytterby IK's goalie prevented a goal. Eric Runeberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Charlie Vollander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eric Runeberg in the 91st minute of play. Hampus Matsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Börje Ahlfors, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The Ytterby IK players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
