Sixten Ahlbeck spun around in front of the goal 14 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of IS Halmia's goal. In the 34th minute, Fabian Runberg fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 39 played minutes, IS Halmia's Erik Hermansson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marko Bållström came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in IS Halmia reached it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sivert Ekblom got free with Marko Bållström in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 43 minutes into the match, Lövestad IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Runberg came free, but Marko Bållström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Fabian Runberg came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the IS Halmia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabian Runberg couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tobias Hagberg to make the kick off. In the 55th match minute, IS Halmia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik Hermansson to maneuver through the defense. When Inge Ahlroht came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Lövestad IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Inge Ahlroht couldn't finish the play. Ludvig Unesson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jim Högberg having to interfere. Tobias Hagberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 88th match minute, Lövestad IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sixten Ahlbeck to maneuver through the defense.
