The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Garpenberg's goal looked a bit too open when Tord Skager came free, but Peder Gustavsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bjästa BF's Thor Öberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristian Wallengren in the 5th minute of play. Kristian Wallengren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thor Öberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Kinell, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After having played for 13 minutes, Kristian Wallengren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Garpenberg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kristian Wallengren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 15th match minute, Bjästa BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thor Josefsson to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the match, Garpenberg's Orvar Alebeck broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Thor Öberg came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Garpenberg's Axel Kinell. But to his dismay, Axel Kinell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Axel Kinell put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Thor Öberg. Thor Öberg came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Garpenberg's Kristian Wallengren. But to his dismay, Kristian Wallengren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Kristian Wallengren scored 0-4 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thor Öberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kristian Wallengren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Bjästa BF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Garpenberg were winning 0-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tord Skager to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Bjästa BF's zone, Kristian Wallengren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thor Öberg came out of the goal and Kristian Wallengren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 63 minutes into the match, Garpenberg's goal looked a bit too open when Tord Skager came free, but Peder Gustavsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Kristian Wallengren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Garpenberg's supporters rose to their feet, but Kristian Wallengren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thor Öberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Bjästa BF's Konrad Jansson got a free kick in the 67th minute. If Axel Kinell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 70 played minutes Bjästa BF got a freekick which was hit by Thor Josefsson. After 73 minutes, Thor Josefsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bjästa BF and the Garpenberg players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kristian Wallengren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Thor Öberg made a huge save. Thor Öberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Kinell in the 82nd minute of the match.
