The referee ignored Fors IF's protests and gave Emanuel Tunberg a yellow card for diving instead. Emanuel Tunberg kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Johannes Biörling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt-Åke Siöman having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Johannes Biörling's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bengt-Åke Siöman was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Håverud's Edmund Bruse got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Johannes Biörling managed to get in a good position for a shot. Håverud's supporters rose to their feet, but Johannes Biörling was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bengt-Åke Siöman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bengt-Åke Siöman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmund Bruse in the 27th minute of play. Edmund Bruse struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Bengt-Åke Siöman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Håverud. Fors IF's Bengt-Åke Siöman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johannes Biörling in the 30th minute of play. Oskar Kiempe hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Michael Thorsberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Michael Thorsberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Roger Kellberg made a huge save. 41 minutes into the game, Michael Thorsberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Roger Kellberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Michael Thorsberg was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Ronny Askberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonny Haglund got his second yellow card in the match during the 53rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Jonny Haglund hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 56 minutes into the game, Fors IF's Tobias Lundgren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roger Kellberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0.
