An unexpectedly hard shot by Christopher Vallman in the 23rd minute of play forced Pitbulls's goalkeeper Per-Erik Åkesson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When Greger Unesson came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Pitbulls fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Greger Unesson couldn't finish the play. Kjell Lindberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Greger Unesson in the 87th minute of play. Kjell Lindberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tim Hellkvist in the 91st minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Tim Hellkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
