The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ulf Jansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils Berg having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Björn Ånger in the 10th minute of play forced QPR Hardrockers's goalkeeper Jonny Lindholm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Timmy Lidberg charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Timmy Lidberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of QPR Hardrockers booed when SöderKamraterna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timmy Lidberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nils Berg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johannes Tunberg in the 24th minute of play. Leonardo Apelquist scored 0-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonny Lindholm, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonny Lindholm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Smitt in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Björn Ånger in the 38th minute of play forced QPR Hardrockers's goalkeeper Jonny Lindholm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulf Jansson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nils Berg having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Smitt in the 42nd minute of play forced QPR Hardrockers's goalkeeper Jonny Lindholm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SöderKamraterna's Nils Berg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alf Kuse in the 45th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Holger Ivarsson during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 47th minute, SöderKamraterna's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ulf Jansson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Johannes Tunberg to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Björn Ånger in the 53rd minute of play forced QPR Hardrockers's goalkeeper Jonny Lindholm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 57 minutes, Björn Ånger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SöderKamraterna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Björn Ånger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonny Lindholm made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Joel Smitt sent off a good shot on target. Jonny Lindholm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Björn Ånger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 70 minutes, Ulf Jansson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. QPR Hardrockers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulf Jansson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nils Berg came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by QPR Hardrockers's Ulf Jansson. But to his dismay, Ulf Jansson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Nils Berg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulf Jansson in the 77th minute of play. After 78 played minutes SöderKamraterna got a freekick which was hit by Timmy Lidberg. After 84 minutes, Alf Kuse mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the QPR Hardrockers and the SöderKamraterna players grew even worse after the yellow card. Björn Ånger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Björn Ånger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to SöderKamraterna getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Calle Lindholm hit a great ball. Nils Berg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Johannes Tunberg's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
