Valdemar Bergman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gunnar Hultman's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. If Thomas Jansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Ljungbyholm FK were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kevin Olsson to make the kick off. Kevin Olsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdemar Bergman having to interfere. Gunnar Hultman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Kevin Olsson, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 56 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Valdemar Bergman was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 59 played minutes Ljungbyholm FK got a freekick which was hit by Ian Sikström. Frövi IK's August Lindsten couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 59th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ljungbyholm FK. Verner Alström charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Verner Alström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ljungbyholm FK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kevin Olsson in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valdemar Bergman saved Frövi IK from getting behind. Valdemar Bergman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Olsson in the 76th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the game, Linus Johansson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Frövi IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ljungbyholm FK the free kick. After 78 played minutes Frövi IK got a freekick which was hit by Linus Johansson. 81 minutes into the match, Frövi IK's Thomas Jansson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mathias Ekenberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gunnar Hultman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Valdemar Bergman made a huge save. Ljungbyholm FK's Gunnar Hultman got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 87th minute, Frövi IK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kevin Olsson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Gunnar Hultman struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Valdemar Bergman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ljungbyholm FK.
