Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Långbäcken's Karl-Axel Åström started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 minutes of play, Anaheim Rockers's Joakim Granqvist made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexander Klintæus was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Karl-Axel Åström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joakim Granqvist in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexander Klintæus saved Långbäcken from getting behind. Joachim Back received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Alexander Klintæus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joakim Granqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anaheim Rockers's Joachim Back got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Patric Siöman managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Långbäcken's Karl-Axel Åström fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 29 minutes into the match, Joachim Back notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Långbäcken's Alexander Klintæus. Alexander Klintæus was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Anaheim Rockers's Joakim Granqvist in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Långbäcken's goalie prevented a goal. When Vilhelm Sävström came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Långbäcken fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vilhelm Sävström couldn't finish the play. Karl-Axel Åström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patric Siöman having to interfere. 39 minutes into the game, Karl-Axel Åström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Långbäcken's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Anaheim Rockers the free kick. In the 41st match minute, Anaheim Rockers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joachim Back to maneuver through the defense. Anaheim Rockers's Joachim Back got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vilhelm Sävström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patric Siöman having to interfere. Karl-Axel Åström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Patric Siöman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Anaheim Rockers were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Joakim Granqvist made the kick off in the second half. Joachim Back received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Alexander Klintæus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th match minute, Anaheim Rockers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig-Ove Axelsson to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Anaheim Rockers's zone, Thomas Bengtsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patric Siöman came out of the goal and Thomas Bengtsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joakim Granqvist received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alexander Klintæus came out and tried to block the shot, but Joakim Granqvist slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 77th minute. In the 79th match minute, Långbäcken was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vilhelm Sävström to maneuver through the defense. After 80 minutes, Jonathan Lindblom mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Anaheim Rockers and the Långbäcken players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Anaheim Rockers getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Jonathan Lindblom hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Stig-Ove Axelsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anaheim Rockers's supporters rose to their feet, but Stig-Ove Axelsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexander Klintæus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Anaheim Rockers walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
