Spectators: 6600 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ivar Axelsson took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ivar Axelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivar Axelsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Michael Wästerberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. After 18th play minutes Sonny Carlsson shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Michael Wästerberg and just under the crossbar into goal. When Jens-Ove Markusson fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jönköping FC's protests and gave Jens-Ove Markusson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd minute, Jens-Ove Markusson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronny Ersman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens-Ola Jönsätt, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Ronny Ersman stood somewhat misplaced when Jens-Ola Jönsätt came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 30 minute. Michael Wästerberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sonny Carlsson went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Sonny Carlsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Michael Wästerberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jens-Ola Jönsätt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Sven-Oskar Wallgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Källö-knippla booed when Jönköping FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Pilberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivar Axelsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Jönköping FC's Jens-Ove Lundqvist got a free kick in the 73rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens-Ola Jönsätt in the 81st minute of play forced Källö-knippla's goalkeeper Ronny Ersman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Sonny Carlsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Michael Wästerberg. Jönköping FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sonny Carlsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Sonny Carlsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Wästerberg having to interfere. Ivar Axelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the match, Jönköping FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ivar Axelsson came free, but Michael Wästerberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Källö-knippla had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
