With a little luck, Järnforsen IFK's Viktor Winström got control of the ball when Bo Stålberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 25 minutes of play, Järnforsen IFK's Isac Björkman made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arvid Nilsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 31st minute, Philip Åström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Viktor Winström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Lindholm in the 34th minute of the match. After having played for 35 minutes, Bo Stålberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hammers BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bo Stålberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 40 minutes into the game, Järnforsen IFK's Philip Åström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arvid Nilsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. If Philip Åström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for John Lindholm to strike the kick off in the second half. If Bo Stålberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. Philip Åström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arvid Nilsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, Linus Blomkvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hammers BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Järnforsen IFK the free kick. Linus Blomkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Philip Åström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arvid Nilsson was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. After 78 played minutes Hammers BK got a freekick which was hit by Christian Dahlquist. Arvid Nilsson acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 79th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Zebastian Nordstedt. When Philip Åström came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Järnforsen IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Philip Åström couldn't finish the play. After 83 minutes, Rune Wallmark mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Järnforsen IFK and the Hammers BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 88 minutes of play Järnforsen IFK's Elias Norberg was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The Hammers BK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Järnforsen IFK's performance. The match ended with a win for Järnforsen IFK.
