The FC Wernamo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ludwig Dahlgren should have stopped the shot. 10 minutes into the match, Kolbäck IF's Dennis Blom broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Fredrik Säf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Ludwig Dahlgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joacim Olsson's late challenge caught a Kolbäck IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. FC Wernamo's Ludwig Dahlgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Björn Sjöberg in the 18th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Wernamo's Bengt-Arne Hjortberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Klas Britz. That made the score 1-1 after 23 minutes of play. In the 25th minute, Christian Sandström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fredrik Säf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Klas Britz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt-Arne Hjortberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 74th minute Bengt-Arne Hjortberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klas Britz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Klas Britz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt-Arne Hjortberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Wernamo.
