The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bengt Nyström in the 3rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Emil Kling, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Torbjörn Gråberg fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Borensberg RK's protests and gave Torbjörn Gråberg a yellow card for diving instead. Torbjörn Gråberg hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Joakim Odman hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. If Joakim Odman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pelle Karlstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filiph Bollström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ingmar Öman kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Torbjörn Gråberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pelle Karlstedt was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Pelle Karlstedt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Torbjörn Gråberg went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Torbjörn Gråberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Pelle Karlstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emil Kling made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Bengt Nyström sent off a good shot on target. 47 minutes into the match, Ilsbo IF's goal looked a bit too open when Torbjörn Gråberg came free, but Pelle Karlstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Borensberg RK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joakim Odman to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Ilsbo IF's goal looked a bit too open when Filiph Bollström came free, but Pelle Karlstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bengt Nyström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 67 minutes into the match, Borensberg RK's Filiph Bollström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pelle Karlstedt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pelle Karlstedt made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Torbjörn Gråberg sent off a good shot on target. Borensberg RK's Filiph Bollström got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pelle Karlstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filiph Bollström in the 76th minute of play. Filiph Bollström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd minute of the match, Filiph Bollström tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pelle Karlstedt saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Borensberg RK booed when Ilsbo IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingmar Öman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 90 minutes, Joakim Odman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ilsbo IF and the Borensberg RK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Emil Kling didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joakim Odman went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
