Leo Hellström didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 18th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. When Sture Spets came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Barca Boys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sture Spets couldn't finish the play. Leo Hellström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Håkan Bokelund in the 23rd minute. After having played for 28 minutes, Sture Spets managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barca Boys's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sture Spets was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Henry Wallengren kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Sture Spets fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Leo Hellström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sture Spets's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. With a little luck, Helsingborgs F A's Leo Hellström got control of the ball when Håkan Bokelund tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Barca Boys's Sture Spets slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leo Hellström. That made the score 3-0 after 38 minutes of play. Helsingborgs F A's Leo Hellström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sture Spets in the 42nd minute of play. Leo Hellström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sture Spets in the 46th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sture Spets was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Helsingborgs F A's zone, Håkan Bokelund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leo Hellström came out of the goal and Håkan Bokelund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 54th minute Sture Spets shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Hellström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Håkan Bokelund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jimmie Åkesson hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Wictor Rosendahl charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wictor Rosendahl the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 64 played minutes Helsingborgs F A got a freekick which was hit by Wictor Rosendahl. Leo Hellström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sture Spets, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Barca Boys getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Bengt Blomquist hit a great ball. Otto Hamberg acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 86th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Kristian Nordstedt. Håkan Bokelund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 90 minutes into the match, Helsingborgs F A's goal looked a bit too open when Håkan Bokelund came free, but Leo Hellström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leo Hellström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Håkan Bokelund in the 92nd minute of the match. Leo Hellström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sture Spets in the 95th minute of play. Barca Boys walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
