Folke Forsell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frans Moberg in the 30th minute. After having played for 36 minutes, Agne Kilman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Romelanda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agne Kilman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Kattarp's Folke Forsell got control of the ball when Frans Moberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Romelanda's supporters rose to their feet, but Agne Kilman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Folke Forsell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
