In the 11th minute Pelle Åberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johan Söderqwist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nils Spets received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Johan Söderqwist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Uno Wennerqvist hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Pelle Åberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johan Söderqwist having to interfere. In the 20th match minute, Romelanda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reine Hedberg to maneuver through the defense. When Pelle Åberg came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Södra Sunderbyn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pelle Åberg couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Romelanda getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Rickard Björkkvist hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Södra Sunderbyn's Patrik Törnblom tried to score from far away in the 28th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pelle Åberg in the 35th minute of play forced Romelanda's goalkeeper Johan Söderqwist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pelle Åberg struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Johan Söderqwist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Södra Sunderbyn. Pelle Åberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nils Spets fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johan Söderqwist having to interfere. With a little luck, Romelanda's Johan Söderqwist got control of the ball when Nils Spets tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pelle Åberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Johan Söderqwist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agne Kilman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pelle Åberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nils Spets fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johan Söderqwist having to interfere. Johan Söderqwist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pelle Åberg in the 55th minute of the match. After 57 played minutes Södra Sunderbyn got a freekick which was hit by Nils Spets. After a good free kick, Nils Spets got an opportunity to smash the ball into the goal, but unfortunately, the ball went just outside the goal, which resulted in a goal kick for Romelanda. Matthias Malm made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frans Moberg in the 61st minute. After 64 played minutes Romelanda got a freekick which was hit by Rickard Björkkvist. 67 minutes into the game, Pelle Åberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Johan Söderqwist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 73 played minutes Romelanda got a freekick which was hit by Rutger Wahlnäs. Pelle Åberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Johan Söderqwist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Pelle Åberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nils Spets sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute, Nils Spets got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Birger Högman was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 85 minutes had been played. The supporters of Romelanda booed when Södra Sunderbyn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Birger Högman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute, Reine Hedberg sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Södra Sunderbyn's Matthias Malm didn't even have to move. Nils Spets received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Johan Söderqwist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Måns Åkesson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johan Söderqwist having to interfere. If Nils Spets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Södra Sunderbyn fully deserved thier win.
