Charlie Högström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gustav Wennerberg hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. When Pål Moberg came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Skoghall fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pål Moberg couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pål Moberg in the 28th minute of play forced Kattarp's goalkeeper Folke Forsell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Pål Moberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Axel Rudberg kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 39th minute Charlie Högström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Säfström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonardo Säfström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charlie Högström, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After the first half Skoghall were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Gustav Wennerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Kattarp defense, Pål Moberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Folke Forsell. The Kattarp fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Folke Forsell should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Skoghall booed when Kattarp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Rudberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Axel Rudberg's late challenge caught a Skoghall's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Axel Rudberg helped the player get up and apologised. Axel Rudberg hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Johan Gråberg's shot from long distance in the 59th minute was not bad at all, but Kattarp's Folke Forsell knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charlie Högström in the 69th minute of play forced Skoghall's goalkeeper Leonardo Säfström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustav Wennerberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Folke Forsell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Skoghall's Pål Moberg got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 80 minutes into the match, Skoghall's goal looked a bit too open when Charlie Högström came free, but Leonardo Säfström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Kattarp's goal looked a bit too open when Pål Moberg came free, but Folke Forsell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustav Wennerberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Folke Forsell having to make a save. When Charlie Högström came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Kattarp fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charlie Högström couldn't finish the play. Leonardo Säfström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charlie Högström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Skoghall's zone, Charlie Högström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonardo Säfström came out of the goal and Charlie Högström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
