After having played for 33 minutes, Niklas Dahlkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Backe IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niklas Dahlkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ingvar Nyman came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Backe IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ingvar Nyman couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Ingvar Nyman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Backe IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ingvar Nyman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frans Hökkvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Harlösa's zone, Niklas Dahlkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frans Hökkvist came out of the goal and Niklas Dahlkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frans Hökkvist made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Conny Fanström sent off a good shot on target. In the 47th match minute, Harlösa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anthon Dahlgren to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The supporters of Backe IK booed when Harlösa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hjalmar Lind didn't get a good kick on the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Harlösa's goal looked a bit too open when Niklas Dahlkvist came free, but Frans Hökkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Niklas Dahlkvist in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frans Hökkvist saved Harlösa from getting behind. Backe IK's Ingvar Nyman got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There was no doubt that Backe IK were the better team. Backe IK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
