After a defensive mix-up in Hisingens Stolpskott's zone, Ingvar Berggren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joakim Åberg came out of the goal and Ingvar Berggren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 22 minutes into the match, Hisingens Stolpskott's goal looked a bit too open when Ove Hägglund came free, but Joakim Åberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hisingens Stolpskott's Joakim Åberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernt Browall in the 24th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vilhelm Ek in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joakim Åberg saved Hisingens Stolpskott from getting behind. 28 minutes into the match, Hisingens Stolpskott's goal looked a bit too open when Torsten Bohlin came free, but Joakim Åberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ragnar Erserman made in the 32nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Henry Häll immediately put the ball in play. In the 37th minute, Bernt Browall left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stäppens IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The Stäppens IF fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when Stäppens IF's Vilhelm Ek looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The Hisingens Stolpskott fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-7. 89 minutes into the match, Svante Åkesson notched a goal, 2-7, to the right of Stäppens IF's Matthias Benet. Matthias Benet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the final whistle sounded Stäppens IF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Hisingens Stolpskott.
