In the 21stth minute of the game Aaron Blomqvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sparreholm's Pelle Häger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 24th minute, Karl Siggesson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pelle Häger. The goal made the score 1-1. Aaron Blomqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pelle Häger having to interfere. Josef Kvalfält kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After having played for 36 minutes, Thomas Wallgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sparreholm's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thomas Wallgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37th minute Joacim Kjellqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joakim Nilsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Sparreholm's goal looked a bit too open when Aaron Blomqvist came free, but Pelle Häger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

If Joacim Kjellqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thomas Wallgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Joakim Nilsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thomas Wallgren struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Joakim Nilsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sparreholm. Edvard Delin kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Thomas Wallgren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Joakim Nilsson made a huge save. 80 minutes into the match, Sävedalen IK's Aaron Blomqvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pelle Häger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Joacim Kjellqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
