Oskarström IF's Sven-Olof Molander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joseph Mager in the 10th minute of play. In the 19th minute Joseph Mager shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Olof Molander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joseph Mager received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Sven-Olof Molander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Oskarström IF's Vincent Pihlwall got a free kick in the 26th minute. Sven-Olof Molander stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joseph Mager's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. If Joseph Mager had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vincent Pihlwall made a kick off. Abdurrezzak Şahbey's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sven-Olof Molander read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. With a little luck, Oskarström IF's Sven-Olof Molander got control of the ball when Joseph Mager tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gunnars FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Joseph Mager was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven-Olof Molander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joseph Mager received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Joseph Mager kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sven-Olof Molander. That made the score 0-1 in the 71 minute of play. Oskarström IF's Sven-Olof Molander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Oskarström IF from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle sounded Gunnars FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Oskarström IF.
