The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With his leg David Nilsson managed to avoid a goal in the 4thth minute, when Salbohed FF's Kennet Finman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Joel Fransson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Salbohed FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Fransson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Nilsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 14thth minute of the game Jens-Åke Arvidsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Salbohed FF's Georg Barck was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jens-Åke Arvidsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute, one of Salbohed FF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Salbohed FF. If Jens-Åke Arvidsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kent Busk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Georg Barck having to interfere. Hamra's Kent Busk got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 30 minutes, Elias Fristedt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salbohed FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elias Fristedt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Olle Lindkvist's late challenge caught a Salbohed FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olle Lindkvist helped the player get up and apologised. Olle Lindkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Kennet Finman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but David Nilsson made a huge save. Elias Fristedt kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kent Busk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Joel Fransson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edgar Valler hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. If Jens-Åke Arvidsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jens-Åke Arvidsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Georg Barck having to interfere. Kent Busk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Georg Barck read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. If Kent Busk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kennet Finman in the 76th minute of play forced Hamra's goalkeeper David Nilsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Georg Barck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kent Busk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Hamra booed when Salbohed FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Fransson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute, Kennet Finman made a precise shot to the right of David Nilsson. Hamra's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. When Kent Busk came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Hamra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kent Busk couldn't finish the play. Georg Barck made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Jens-Åke Arvidsson sent off a good shot on target. Georg Barck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kent Busk in the 90th minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
