The shot was stopped by Mark Ekrot but with some difficulty. Joel Esbjörnsson hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Bor's Kim Hermansson got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kim Hermansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Bor defense, Matthias Henriksson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Michael Lenberg. The Bor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Michael Lenberg should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Kälarne FK getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Christian Hedbom hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice moves Stig-Åke Hjelm could shoot a difficult shot in the 40th minute, which Mark Ekrot however easily saved by the left post. In the 42nd minute, Bor's Kim Hermansson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. After the first half Kälarne FK were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Karl-Johan Alebom was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Matthias Henriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kälarne FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matthias Henriksson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 61 played minutes Bor got a freekick which was hit by Rasmus Tidén. Christian Hedbom didn't quite understand what happened when in the 62 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Algot Lundhberg hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kim Hermansson in the 80th minute of play forced Kälarne FK's goalkeeper Mark Ekrot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Bor's Stig-Åke Hjelm in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kälarne FK's goalie prevented a goal. Algot Lundhberg's late challenge caught a Kälarne FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Algot Lundhberg helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Kälarne FK booed when Bor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Algot Lundhberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bor were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Kälarne FK for a fine match.
