In the 36th minute, Anders Wikander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Trädgårdsstadens IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Stig-Åke Hjelm's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erik Fågel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. In the 61st match minute, Bor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Algot Lundhberg to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Kjell-Arne Arvidsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trädgårdsstadens IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Kjell-Arne Arvidsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michael Lenberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anders Wikander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Lenberg having to interfere. In the 88th minute Kim Hermansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Fågel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Kjell-Arne Arvidsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, Krister Blomqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
