After a rather tough play, Bor's Algot Lundhberg got a free kick in the 29th minute. Michael Lenberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ernst Linberg in the 30th minute. Jan Ekeroth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Michael Lenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Kim Hermansson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bor's Stig-Åke Hjelm got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 47th minute, Per-Arne Collin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 49 minutes into the match, Gökböle BK's Matthias Gregersson broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

After 56 played minutes Gökböle BK got a freekick which was hit by Edvin Finsberg. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bor fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 65th minute. Penalty! After a rather tough play, Gökböle BK's Ingvar Täman got a free kick in the 73rd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Gökböle BK's goal looked a bit too open when Kim Hermansson came free, but Ian Ahlquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ernst Linberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Michael Lenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute Kim Hermansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Ahlquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michael Lenberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernst Linberg in the 89th minute of the match. If Kim Hermansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bor's Michael Lenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Ekeroth in the 95th minute of play. Kim Hermansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ian Ahlquist having to interfere. Michael Lenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernst Linberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 100th minute. The Gökböle BK players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
