Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Gökböle BK's Jan Ekeroth started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ian Ahlquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Knut Axelsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. 5 minutes into the match, Gökböle BK's goalkeeper Ian Ahlquist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Knut Axelsson. Gökböle BK's Ian Ahlquist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Gökböle BK from getting a goal against them. Torbjörn Nyström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Ekeroth, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Knut Axelssons short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Ian Ahlquist to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Knut Axelsson put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ian Ahlquist. Torbjörn Nyström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernst Linberg in the 19th minute of play. Knut Axelsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Ian Ahlquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Knut Axelsson kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute. Though ot was a great shot Gökböle BK's keeper Ian Ahlquist was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Edvin Finsberg hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. MONACO UNITED's Torbjörn Nyström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernst Linberg in the 25th minute of play. After 28 played minutes Gökböle BK got a freekick which was hit by Ulf Groth. Torbjörn Nyström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Ekeroth in the 31st minute of play. Ernst Linberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ian Ahlquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Knut Axelsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Knut Axelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Otto Karlberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Ian Ahlquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernst Linberg's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Torbjörn Nyström firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 55th minute Jan Ekeroth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torbjörn Nyström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th match minute, MONACO UNITED was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otto Karlberg to maneuver through the defense. MONACO UNITED's Knut Axelsson got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 62 minutes, Knut Axelsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MONACO UNITED's supporters crossed their fingers, but Knut Axelsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Otto Karlberg came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the MONACO UNITED fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Otto Karlberg couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Knut Axelsson in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ian Ahlquist saved Gökböle BK from getting behind. Tomas Åkerström lost his temper 69 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After a rather tough play, MONACO UNITED's Tomas Åkerström got a free kick in the 70th minute. Gökböle BK's Matthias Gregersson shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 71st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Torbjörn Nyström but with some difficulty. If Anton Collin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aron Salqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Torbjörn Nyström came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Gökböle BK's Ernst Linberg. But to his dismay, Ernst Linberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Ian Ahlquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otto Karlberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Frank Josefsson came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the MONACO UNITED fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Josefsson couldn't finish the play.
