After having played for 9 minutes, Charlie Carlsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Frassekungar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charlie Carlsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Viggo Engman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christoffer Abelsson having to interfere. Viggo Engman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christoffer Abelsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viggo Engman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christoffer Abelsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viggo Engman, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. A collision led to Frassekungar getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Brian Björk hit a great ball. Viggo Engman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of R.S Avanti booed when Frassekungar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gottfrid Lindberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 28 played minutes, R.S Avanti's Sven-Edvin Winström shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Christoffer Abelsson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in R.S Avanti reached it. Kjell-Arne Rang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stellan Öberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 43rd minute, Viggo Engman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 44 minutes into the game, Brian Björk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Frassekungar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave R.S Avanti the free kick. After 44 played minutes Frassekungar got a freekick which was hit by Brian Björk. Viggo Engman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christoffer Abelsson having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Viggo Engman to make the kick off. Viggo Engman might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christoffer Abelsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Viggo Engman ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 59th minute, Esbjörn Smefeldt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brian Sigman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kjell-Arne Rang didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Charlie Carlsson went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Stellan Öberg had several of the R.S Avanti's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 69 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Kjell-Arne Rang as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 75th minute, Joacim Brander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gottfrid Lindberg in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kjell-Arne Rang prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
