The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nils-Emil Larsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isac Björkqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. With a little luck, Skokloster IF's Isac Björkqvist got control of the ball when Freddie Lidström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nils-Emil Larsson kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Mats Axelsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Persson having to interfere. Leo Persson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johan Snäll in the 17th minute of play. Johan Snäll received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Leo Persson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Skokloster IF's goal looked a bit too open when Nils-Emil Larsson came free, but Isac Björkqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michael Samuelsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Persson having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Johan Snäll to make the kick off. After 53 minutes, Michael Samuelsson made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Garphyttan BK's Leo Persson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Greger Kellman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute Nils-Emil Larsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isac Björkqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michael Samuelsson struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Leo Persson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skokloster IF. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Michael Samuelsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skokloster IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Michael Samuelsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leo Persson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jan Haeger's late challenge caught a Garphyttan BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jan Haeger helped the player get up and apologised. After 66 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Skokloster IF! 74 minutes into the match, Nils-Emil Larsson notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Skokloster IF's Isac Björkqvist. Isac Björkqvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Johan Snäll struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Leo Persson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skokloster IF. The crowd rose to their feet as Michael Samuelsson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leo Persson. That made the score 3-2 in the 88 minute of play. Skokloster IF were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Garphyttan BK to leave the ground with a draw.
