In the 15th minute, Börje Vennerlund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 15th minute, Aron Hök hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Säffle FF's Einar Hjeltman got a free kick in the 36th minute. After some careless play in the Tibro BK defense, Börje Vennerlund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arne Spetz. The Tibro BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arne Spetz should have stopped the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Börje Vennerlund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the game, Hjalmar Melander was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Säffle FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tibro BK the free kick. 60 minutes into the match, Tibro BK's Jörn Ambjörnsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Börge Uggla narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Tibro BK getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Emil Hylander hit a great ball. Tibro BK's Jörn Ambjörnsson got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Einar Hjeltman might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arne Spetz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Einar Hjeltman ran back to his position shaking his head. Einar Hjeltman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arne Spetz having to interfere. Hjalmar Melander was shown his second yellow card after 82 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Hjalmar Melander hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Jörn Ambjörnsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Börge Uggla having to make a save. Einar Hjeltman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tord Berg hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Einar Hjeltman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Arne Spetz made a huge save. When the final whistle sounded Säffle FF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tibro BK.
