In the 30thth minute of the game Jesper Falck who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Somalia Kickers's Per-Erik Bollström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kurt Fransson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per-Erik Bollström having to interfere. Somalia Kickers's Karl-Axel Abrahamsson got his second yellow card of the match in the 38th minute. The referee ordered Karl-Axel Abrahamsson off the ground. After 38 played minutes Somalia Kickers got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Axel Abrahamsson. If Jesper Falck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. Nils Dahlman made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Alexander Hjälm sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Örebro SK's zone, Alexander Hjälm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nils Dahlman came out of the goal and Alexander Hjälm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alexander Hjälm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Somalia Kickers booed when Örebro SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jakob Åkesson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th match minute, Örebro SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Ove Backlund to maneuver through the defense. Somalia Kickers were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after Örebro SK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Boris Siggesson took the corner. Per-Erik Bollström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Östen Olofsson in the 93rd minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Somalia Kickers eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
