Östen Olofsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvin Erserman having to interfere. Ankarsvik FK's Alvin Erserman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Ankarsvik FK from getting a goal against them. Alvin Erserman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesper Falck in the 16th minute of the match. Fredrik Hagberg kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Jesper Falck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Örebro SK's Jesper Falck got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ankarsvik FK's Alvin Erserman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesper Falck in the 46th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jesper Falck to make the kick off. Alvin Erserman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesper Falck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 52 minutes into the game, one of Ankarsvik FK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The Ankarsvik FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alvin Erserman should have stopped the shot. If Östen Olofsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alvin Erserman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesper Falck in the 90th minute of play. In the 96th minute, Johannes Sjöström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Östen Olofsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 98th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alvin Erserman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Östen Olofsson ran back to his position shaking his head. When the referee ended the match the Örebro SK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
