They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Torgny Nordkvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Einar Hökkvist went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After 85 minutes of play, Österfärnebo's Henry Elg made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Claes Hegg was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Einar Hökkvist in the 92nd minute of play forced Österfärnebo's goalkeeper Torgny Nordkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Skillingsfors RK's Manfred Klemensson got a free kick in the 98th minute. The Österfärnebo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Österfärnebo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
