Stig Berg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Duvbo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Stig-Åke Vase came free, but Stig Berg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stig-Åke Vase in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stig Berg saved Duvbo FC from getting behind. Stig-Åke Vase struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Stig Berg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hallstahammar. Jan-Åke Trillkott could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Dan Sjögren made a huge save. In the 28th minute, Jan-Åke Trillkott left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Duvbo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 31 minutes into the game, Stig-Åke Vase cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Stig Berg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With an all-out effort, Duvbo FC's Dan Sjögren threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mats Frykberg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Mats Frykberg succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 36th playminute. When the match was over Hallstahammar could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Duvbo FC throughout the match.
