Spectators: 5700 (Terracing: 4200, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) Arman Asklöv started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute, Arman Asklöv left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sibbhult BF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After a rather tough play, Sibbhult BF's Henrik Soned got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hallstahammar's goalkeeper Dan Sjögren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dag Juhlin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig-Åke Vase, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th match minute, Sibbhult BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kjell Larsfält to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the game, Kjell Larsfält cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Dan Sjögren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Sibbhult BF's zone, Stig-Åke Vase stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dag Juhlin came out of the goal and Stig-Åke Vase tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Olof Tillman lost his temper 25 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 25 minutes into the game, one of Hallstahammar:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ingvar Melander did an outstanding performance 28 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 3-0 to the right of an irritated Dan Sjögren in the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kjell Larsfält got free with Dan Sjögren in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hallstahammar's Dan Sjögren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kjell Larsfält in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Hallstahammar's goalkeeper Dan Sjögren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arman Asklöv. With a little luck, Hallstahammar's Dan Sjögren got control of the ball when Kjell Larsfält tried to sneak it across the goal line. 48 minutes into the match, Sibbhult BF's goal looked a bit too open when Stig-Åke Vase came free, but Dag Juhlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Stig-Åke Vase made the kick off in the second half. Dan Sjögren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arman Asklöv in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Hallstahammar's goal looked a bit too open when Ingvar Melander came free, but Dan Sjögren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ingvar Melander got free in front of the goal in the 54th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Dan Sjögren was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 57 minutes into the match, Hallstahammar's goal looked a bit too open when Kjell Larsfält came free, but Dan Sjögren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dan Sjögren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingvar Melander in the 58th minute of the match. Dan Sjögren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arman Asklöv in the 59th minute of play. Edward Ekegren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute, Ingvar Melander made a precise shot to the right of Dan Sjögren. Hallstahammar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Bernt Johansson kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. If David Höijer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes into the game, Ingvar Melander cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Dan Sjögren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Hallstahammar defense, Kjell Larsfält kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dan Sjögren. The Hallstahammar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dan Sjögren should have stopped the shot. Kjell Larsfält received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Dan Sjögren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd match minute, Hallstahammar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig-Åke Vase to maneuver through the defense. After 94 played minutes Sibbhult BF got a freekick which was hit by Edward Ekegren. The supporters of Sibbhult BF booed when Hallstahammar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rickard Pihlberg didn't get a good kick on the ball.
