With a left leg Kalle Carlsson saved Ulme FF from getting behind. Christian Ek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kalle Carlsson having to interfere. Johan Malmberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dan Mogren's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Kalle Carlsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Ek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the game, Vidar Holmgren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ulme FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stjärnhov IK the free kick. Kalle Carlsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olle Flinck in the 37th minute of the match. Alex Alefors charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alex Alefors the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Stjärnhov IK getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Alex Alefors hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The supporters of Stjärnhov IK booed when Ulme FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malcolm Telin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ulme FF's Kalle Carlsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Ek in the 58th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elliott Nilsson in the 59th minute of play forced Ulme FF's goalkeeper Kalle Carlsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christian Ek struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Kalle Carlsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stjärnhov IK. In the 70th minute, Elliott Nilsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 71st minute Christian Ek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kalle Carlsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Knut Rosén in the 74th minute of play forced Stjärnhov IK's goalkeeper Johan Malmberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
