After a rather tough play, Stjärnhov IK's Sven Mattsson got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 25th minute Elliott Nilsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reine Söderquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute, Christian Ek made a precise shot to the right of Reine Söderquist. Hällestad FF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Christian Ek struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Reine Söderquist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stjärnhov IK. Reine Söderquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elliott Nilsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 47 minutes, Kurt Simonsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hällestad FF and the Stjärnhov IK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kurt Simonsson hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gustaf Grönberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Calle Lång recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Ingvar Koch fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stjärnhov IK's protests and gave Ingvar Koch a yellow card for diving instead. After 61 played minutes Stjärnhov IK got a freekick which was hit by Ingvar Koch. When Niclas Vallmark came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Hällestad FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niclas Vallmark couldn't finish the play. After 68 minutes, Rolf Sundström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hällestad FF and the Stjärnhov IK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Elliott Nilsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Stjärnhov IK booed when Hällestad FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kurt Simonsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 75 minutes into the game, Isaac Bergström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hällestad FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stjärnhov IK the free kick. Isaac Bergström kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Elliott Nilsson's late challenge caught a Hällestad FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 81st match minute, Hällestad FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kurt Simonsson to maneuver through the defense. After 90 played minutes Hällestad FF got a freekick which was hit by Rolf Sundström. Stjärnhov IK's Christian Ek got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kurt Simonsson kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Christian Ek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stjärnhov IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Ek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reine Söderquist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hällestad FF's Reine Söderquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elliott Nilsson in the 95th minute of play.
