Mark Rosen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Magnusson, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Bertil Norberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 1-1 became the score in the 24th minute when Olof Salqvist elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benjamin Magnusson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mark Rosen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Magnusson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 65 minutes, Emil Mellbad mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Järlåsa FK and the Övertorneå players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 66th match minute Walter Sigman ran free in the middle of the field and shot a long shot which scored behind a totally surprised Jesper Brandin. 2-2. 71 minutes into the match, Järlåsa FK's goalkeeper Jesper Brandin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Olof Salqvist. In the 72nd minute Benjamin Magnusson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mark Rosen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Övertorneå's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mattias Josefsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Mark Rosen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mattias Josefsson in the 85th minute of the match. Mark Rosen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benjamin Magnusson went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. Järlåsa FK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
