Spectators: 6672 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1672, VIP seats: 0) Bengt-Åke Kleen started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th play minute Arne Bratt came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Thomas Lindström. 1-0. Bengt-Åke Kleen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Per-Erik Hansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleksander Vedholm having to interfere. Arne Bratt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt-Åke Kleen in the 25th minute of play forced Forza Bajen's goalkeeper Thomas Lindström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute, Bengt-Åke Kleen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thomas Lindström was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 32 minutes into the match, Väröbacka RK's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Trulsson came free, but Aleksander Vedholm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute, Fred Trulsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by Forza Bajen's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kåre Esbjörnsson was slow to take the kick. During this time Väröbacka RK's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Väröbacka RK's corner Kåre Esbjörnsson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Thomas Lindström quite easily take care of the ball. Aleksander Vedholm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Trulsson in the 48th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fred Trulsson was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Bengt-Åke Kleen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Fred Trulsson came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Forza Bajen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fred Trulsson couldn't finish the play. 2-1 became the score in the 65th minute when Fred Trulsson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Forza Bajen's Thomas Lindström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt-Åke Kleen in the 68th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Mats Hallgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Bengt-Åke Kleen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 82 minutes, Calle Ödman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Forza Bajen and the Väröbacka RK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Calle Ödman hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After 83 played minutes, Väröbacka RK's Kåre Esbjörnsson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Thomas Lindström came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Väröbacka RK reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arne Bratt in the 88th minute of play forced Forza Bajen's goalkeeper Thomas Lindström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Väröbacka RK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Forza Bajen had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
