Aleksander Nord showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bo Bank, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. David Frisck could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Aleksander Nord made a huge save. 16 minutes into the match, Nils-Erik Sandström dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aleksander Nord, 1-0. If Henry Nyqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jukkasjärvi IK's Nils-Erik Sandström got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 27 minutes, Jonathan Ahlroht made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Handlebars's Aleksander Nord tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Henry Nyqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nils-Erik Sandström had several of the Handlebars's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 31 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Aleksander Nord as he didn't even see the shot coming. 34 minutes into the match, Handlebars's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Ahlroht came free, but Aleksander Nord reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Jukkasjärvi IK booed when Handlebars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Tham didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bo Bank fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleksander Nord having to interfere. Henry Nyqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Aleksander Nord tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henry Nyqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nils-Erik Sandström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Tony Hellbom made the kick off in the second half. Nils-Erik Sandström scored 4-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aleksander Nord, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonathan Ahlroht in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aleksander Nord prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Jukkasjärvi IK fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Jukkasjärvi IK's Jonathan Ahlroht looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Nils-Erik Sandström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aleksander Nord having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bo Bank in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aleksander Nord saved Handlebars from getting behind. Jukkasjärvi IK's Nils-Erik Sandström got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 71 minutes into the match, Handlebars's goal looked a bit too open when Bo Bank came free, but Aleksander Nord reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bo Bank blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aleksander Nord having to make a save. Jonathan Ahlroht struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Aleksander Nord didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jukkasjärvi IK. After having played for 78 minutes, Jonathan Ahlroht managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jukkasjärvi IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Ahlroht was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 80th minute Bo Bank shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aleksander Nord saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nils-Erik Sandström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nils-Erik Sandström struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Aleksander Nord didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jukkasjärvi IK. In the 84th minute Nils-Erik Sandström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aleksander Nord saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute, Tomas Vassenius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Jukkasjärvi IK's Jonathan Ahlroht in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Nyqvist in the 91st minute of play forced Handlebars's goalkeeper Aleksander Nord to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Handlebars's zone, Nils-Erik Sandström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aleksander Nord came out of the goal and Nils-Erik Sandström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Henry Nyqvist sped through Handlebars's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aleksander Nord. When the referee ended the match the Jukkasjärvi IK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
