After 13 played minutes, Magkatarr IF's Kent Markusson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Linus Molin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Magkatarr IF reached it. If Michael Salkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 20 played minutes Magkatarr IF got a freekick which was hit by Svante Josefsson. Michael Salkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Elof Lundberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Magkatarr IF's goal looked a bit too open when Per-Olof Vassenius came free, but Elof Lundberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Per-Olof Vassenius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elof Lundberg having to interfere. Oskar Mårtensson charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oskar Mårtensson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Per Ahlquist made the kick off in the second half. Michael Salkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elof Lundberg having to interfere. Robert Söderqwist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Linus Molin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Michael Salkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Per-Olof Vassenius who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Elof Lundberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 64 minutes into the game, Michael Salkvist lined in a short shot 0-1 behind a frustrated Elof Lundberg. Elof Lundberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Salkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Michael Salkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Per-Olof Vassenius in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elof Lundberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Magkatarr IF's Elof Lundberg got control of the ball when Per-Olof Vassenius tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Magkatarr IF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Vassmolösa were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
