Spectators: 6689 (Terracing: 5001, Seating: 1686, VIP seats: 2) Lucas Lekberg made the kick off and thus started the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Melker Fernkvist in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karl-Erik Spetz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 6 minutes of play, Rödas's Sonny Olsmann made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karl-Erik Spetz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Karl-Erik Spetz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt-Arne Ljungberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bengt-Arne Ljungberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute, Sonny Olsmann made a precise shot to the right of Karl-Erik Spetz. Eldsberga BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Sven-Åke Broberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Lekberg in the 18th minute of the match. Bengt-Arne Ljungberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Rödas's Bengt-Arne Ljungberg in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Eldsberga BK's goalie prevented a goal. Karl-Erik Spetz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt-Arne Ljungberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute Sonny Olsmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Erik Spetz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Joakim Paulin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Rödas booed when Eldsberga BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrik Browald didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sonny Olsmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Erik Spetz having to interfere. Eldsberga BK's Karl-Erik Spetz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt-Arne Ljungberg in the 36th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Lucas Lekberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sven-Åke Broberg. That made the score 1-3 in the 37 minute of play. After 42 minutes, Bengt-Arne Ljungberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rödas and the Eldsberga BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Rödas's Bengt-Arne Ljungberg got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Sven-Åke Broberg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, Rödas's Sven-Åke Broberg got control of the ball when Alex Skräddare tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half Rödas were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joakim Paulin to strike the kick off in the second half. Rödas's Sven-Åke Broberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Skräddare in the 52nd minute of play. Karl-Erik Spetz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sonny Olsmann in the 53rd minute. After 54 minutes Eldsberga BK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sonny Olsmann who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Sonny Olsmann got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Karl-Erik Spetz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Sonny Olsmann was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 57th minute. Rödas's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. A collision led to Eldsberga BK getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Hubert Håkansson hit a great ball. Eldsberga BK's Karl-Erik Spetz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Eldsberga BK from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Joakim Paulin took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Karl-Erik Spetz to make any attempt to save it. In the 67th minute, Kristoffer Tillman fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Melker Fernkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karl-Erik Spetz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joakim Paulin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Joakim Paulin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rödas's supporters rose to their feet, but Joakim Paulin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl-Erik Spetz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84th minute, Joakim Paulin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rödas's Sven-Åke Broberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Skräddare in the 85th minute of play. Karl-Erik Spetz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joakim Paulin, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 93rd minute Lucas Lekberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Åke Broberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th match minute, Eldsberga BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils Abrahamsson to maneuver through the defense. Joakim Paulin took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karl-Erik Spetz. Karl-Erik Spetz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6.
