Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ola Backman kicked off to start the match. Birger Brandin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leif Rosendahl, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. A collision led to Åmål getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Bengt-Arne Åman hit a great ball. Morgan Månsson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Birger Brandin firmly grabbed it by the left post. After some careless play in the Åmål defense, Leif Rosendahl kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Birger Brandin. The Åmål fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Birger Brandin should have stopped the shot. 23 minutes into the match, Ödskölt's goal looked a bit too open when Ola Backman came free, but Michael Cane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Ödskölt's Leif Rosendahl slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Birger Brandin. That made the score 2-1 after 25 minutes of play. Leif Rosendahl blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Birger Brandin having to make a save. When Kjell Ahlberg fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ödskölt's protests and gave Kjell Ahlberg a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ödskölt getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Kjell Ahlberg hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 34th minute by Morgan Månsson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Morgan Månsson sped through Åmål's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Birger Brandin. Morgan Månsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Birger Brandin made a huge save. In the 44th minute, Ödskölt's Kjell Ahlberg seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Kjell Ahlberg the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ödskölt protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Kjell Ahlberg had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 44 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ödskölt!

The wind increased when Morgan Månsson made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Joel Gummeson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ödskölt's Morgan Månsson got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Morgan Månsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Birger Brandin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. After 60 minutes, Leif Rosendahl made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Åmål's Birger Brandin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Leif Rosendahl struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Birger Brandin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ödskölt. 75 minutes into the match, Åmål's goal looked a bit too open when Morgan Månsson came free, but Birger Brandin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Tage Jernberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute, Morgan Månsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leif Rosendahl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Birger Brandin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Birger Brandin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leif Rosendahl in the 92nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Morgan Månsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ödskölt's supporters rose to their feet, but Morgan Månsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Birger Brandin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 97 minutes into the game, Ödskölt's Morgan Månsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Birger Brandin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. When the referee ended the match the Ödskölt players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
