The referee ignored Vallda's protests and gave Claes Ingvall a yellow card for diving instead. After 20 played minutes Vallda got a freekick which was hit by Claes Ingvall. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Eskil Gallberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. The referee gave Claes Ingvall a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 63rd minute Leif Clementsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Arne Kellberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
