Spectators: 6683 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1683, VIP seats: 0) Lukas Kling started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Eskil Vesterberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Christian Salkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hans Öfverman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lukas Kling in the 8th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Fritz Hääger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 11 minutes into the game, Laholm FK's Eskil Vesterberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christian Salkvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Ingvar Vollander managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hovshaga AIF's supporters rose to their feet, but Ingvar Vollander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hans Öfverman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eskil Vesterberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hovshaga AIF's Christian Salkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eskil Vesterberg in the 24th minute of play. Christian Salkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fritz Hääger in the 25th minute of play. After some careless play in the Hovshaga AIF defense, Fritz Hääger kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christian Salkvist. The Hovshaga AIF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christian Salkvist should have stopped the shot. 37 minutes into the match, Erling Lind had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christian Salkvist. Hovshaga AIF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erling Lind was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. If Fritz Hääger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hovshaga AIF's Christian Salkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eskil Vesterberg in the 47th minute of play. The Hovshaga AIF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Laholm FK were winning 0-3.

Fritz Hääger's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Christian Salkvist firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hovshaga AIF's goalkeeper Christian Salkvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Christian Salkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eskil Vesterberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eskil Vesterberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Christian Salkvist came out and tried to block the shot, but Eskil Vesterberg slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 63rd minute. After 71 minutes, Peter Hansson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Laholm FK and the Hovshaga AIF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 71st minute, Peter Hansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eskil Vesterberg had several of the Hovshaga AIF's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 75 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Christian Salkvist as he didn't even see the shot coming. After having played for 83 minutes, Eskil Vesterberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Laholm FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eskil Vesterberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hovshaga AIF's goalkeeper Christian Salkvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Eskil Vesterberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christian Salkvist was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. In the 88th minute Eskil Vesterberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Salkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Laholm FK's zone, Ingvar Vollander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hans Öfverman came out of the goal and Ingvar Vollander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eskil Vesterberg in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christian Salkvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match was over Laholm FK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Hovshaga AIF throughout the match.
