In the 11th match minute, Energibefriade was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Bergkvist to maneuver through the defense. Reine Wästerberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ragnar Häger having to interfere. Ragnar Häger came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Fangorn's Reine Wästerberg. But to his dismay, Reine Wästerberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 22nd minute, Reine Wästerberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ragnar Häger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Browall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ragnar Häger was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Tomas Browall capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tomas Browall really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Fangorn's Tomas Browall got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Tomas Browall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reine Wästerberg made a kick off. Reine Wästerberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute Reine Wästerberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ragnar Häger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Energibefriade's Ove Ekrot got a free kick in the 60th minute. 61 minutes into the game, Fangorn's Tomas Browall nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ragnar Häger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. If Tomas Browall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 69th match minute, Energibefriade was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronny Åkerman to maneuver through the defense. Reine Wästerberg scored 6-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ragnar Häger, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kim Björk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Ove Berggren in the 80th minute of the match. If Reine Wästerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Browall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ragnar Häger having to interfere. Wilhelm Sandberg charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wilhelm Sandberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 92nd minute, Wilhelm Sandberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Fangorn fully deserved thier win.
