Gunnar Asplund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gunnar Asplund in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frank Giliusson saved Grangärde FF from getting behind. Frank Giliusson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas Pilberg in the 17th minute of play. Frank Ekberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johnny Hamnberg having to interfere. Birger Blomqvist's late challenge caught a Lappträsk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Birger Blomqvist helped the player get up and apologised. Frank Giliusson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunnar Asplund in the 31st minute of play. Birger Blomqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Johnny Hamnberg made a huge save. In the 41st minute, Birger Blomqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Frank Ekberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

51 minutes into the game, Douglas Pilberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Frank Giliusson. Douglas Pilberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. The audience was convinced that Gunnar Asplund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frank Giliusson was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. That made the score 0-3 after 72 minutes of play. 75 minutes in the game, Gunnar Asplund fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Frank Giliusson having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Ronny Lindström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Douglas Pilberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 84th minute, Axel Brander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute, Axel Brander ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Frank Giliusson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Gunnar Asplund's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 91stth minute, Frank Giliusson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.
