After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Matthias Fagrell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stavsnäs RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Matthias Fagrell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan-Erik Alebeck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edmund Löfkvist hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After 24 minutes, Edmund Löfkvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sundsvall and the Stavsnäs RK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Matthias Fagrell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Erik Alebeck having to interfere. Edmund Löfkvist got his second yellow card in the match during the 28th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Stavsnäs RK booed when Sundsvall was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmund Löfkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Sundsvall's goal looked a bit too open when Alfons Fagerberg came free, but Jan-Erik Alebeck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Stavsnäs RK booed when Sundsvall was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristoffer Kvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute, Alfons Fagerberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Edward Asklund kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Matthias Fagrell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Jan-Erik Alebeck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Johannes Josefsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristoffer Kvist in the 63rd minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Sundsvall's goal looked a bit too open when Matthias Fagrell came free, but Jan-Erik Alebeck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sundsvall's Jan-Erik Alebeck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfons Fagerberg in the 74th minute of play. 78 minutes into the game, Olof Wennerberg threw the ball into play from the sideline. Sundsvall's Stig-Ove Ahlrot quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 80 played minutes Sundsvall got a freekick which was hit by Pontus Andberg. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfons Fagerberg in the 83rd minute of play forced Sundsvall's goalkeeper Jan-Erik Alebeck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan-Erik Alebeck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfons Fagerberg in the 85th minute of the match. After having played for 89 minutes, Matthias Fagrell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stavsnäs RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matthias Fagrell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Matthias Fagrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Alfons Fagerberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan-Erik Alebeck was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sundsvall players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Stavsnäs RK.
