After a defensive mix-up in FC Fredag's zone, Edmund Löfkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lars-Erik Wenerdahl came out of the goal and Edmund Löfkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stig-Ove Ahlrot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Lars-Erik Wenerdahl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 20 minutes, Stig-Ove Ahlrot managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sundsvall's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stig-Ove Ahlrot was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stig-Ove Ahlrot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kristoffer Kvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jan-Erik Alebeck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christoffer Harman, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Kristoffer Kvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 45th minute, Stig-Ove Ahlrot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Stig-Ove Ahlrot might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lars-Erik Wenerdahl. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stig-Ove Ahlrot ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 67th minute, FC Fredag's Christoffer Harman dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Thanks to some nice moves Andreas Engström could shoot a difficult shot in the 71st minute, which Jan-Erik Alebeck however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Ove Ahlrot in the 78th minute of play forced FC Fredag's goalkeeper Lars-Erik Wenerdahl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan-Erik Alebeck was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Christoffer Harman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 81 minute of play. Christoffer Harman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Erik Alebeck having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Stig-Ove Ahlrot's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lars-Erik Wenerdahl was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Christoffer Harman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jan-Erik Alebeck came out and tried to block the shot, but Christoffer Harman slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 91st minute. In the 96th minute Stig-Ove Ahlrot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars-Erik Wenerdahl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Fredag's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
