Vegan Warriors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bergets FC the free kick. In the 4th match minute, Vegan Warriors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magne Hedberg to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Göran Hedkvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Max Lindberg was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Max Lindberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Göran Hedkvist in the 9th minute of play. A hard shot 10 in the game by Magne Hedberg from a close distance when the talented Max Lindberg managed to make a qualified save. Bergets FC's players were relieved. Pontus Ekström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans Wennerquist in the 11th minute of play. Bergets FC's Hans Wennerquist got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pontus Ekström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Eklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Vegan Warriors's Göran Hedkvist in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bergets FC's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Magne Hedberg got free with Max Lindberg in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jan-Olof Olofsson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Max Lindberg. Bergets FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Bergets FC's goal looked a bit too open when Göran Hedkvist came free, but Max Lindberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Vegan Warriors booed when Bergets FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marc Danielsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jan-Olof Olofsson shot from long distance in the 30th minute, but Max Lindberg was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Richard Eklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pontus Ekström having to interfere. Göran Hedkvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Max Lindberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Bergets FC's zone, Göran Hedkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Max Lindberg came out of the goal and Göran Hedkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 44th minute, Marc Danielsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute, Vegan Warriors's Göran Hedkvist dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Richard Eklund to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Göran Hedkvist in the 57th minute of play forced Bergets FC's goalkeeper Max Lindberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bergets FC's Max Lindberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Göran Hedkvist in the 59th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Hans Wennerquist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bergets FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hans Wennerquist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pontus Ekström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stig-Ove Smefeldt hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Hans Wennerquist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Göran Hedkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Max Lindberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 75 minutes, Göran Hedkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vegan Warriors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Göran Hedkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vegan Warriors's Pontus Ekström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Vegan Warriors from getting a goal against them. Göran Hedkvist struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Max Lindberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vegan Warriors. In the 84th minute, Göran Hedkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Magne Hedberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Lindberg having to interfere. Göran Hedkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Vegan Warriors booed when Bergets FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marc Danielsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Göran Hedkvist in the 95th minute of play forced Bergets FC's goalkeeper Max Lindberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Vegan Warriors fully deserved thier win.
