Pappa Quacks lärjungar's Alfred Björklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Eskilsson in the 17th minute of play. Gunnar Nordström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alfred Björklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gunnar Nordström, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Fred Flinck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alfred Björklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gunnar Nordström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Martin Eskilsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gunnar Nordström took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfred Björklund. Alfred Björklund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Alfred Björklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Eskilsson in the 37th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Jörgen Åkerberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pappa Quacks lärjungar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Malmö FF the free kick. In the 37th minute, Jörgen Åkerberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Eskilsson in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfred Björklund saved Pappa Quacks lärjungar from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Martin Eskilsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malmö FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Eskilsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfred Björklund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Gunnar Nordström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stefan Lundberg to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Eskilsson in the 57th minute of play forced Pappa Quacks lärjungar's goalkeeper Alfred Björklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin Eskilsson struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Alfred Björklund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malmö FF. Gunnar Nordström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfred Björklund having to make a save. Martin Eskilsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfred Björklund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gunnar Nordström in the 66th minute. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Gunnar Nordström put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Alfred Björklund. Alfred Björklund made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Gunnar Nordström sent off a good shot on target. In the 79th match minute, Malmö FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torsten Johansson to maneuver through the defense. Jörgen Åkerberg hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Gunnar Nordström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Alfred Björklund made a huge save. Alfred Björklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Eskilsson in the 98th minute of the match. Gunnar Nordström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 100th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfred Björklund having to interfere.
